| During WWll America feared the threat of Japanese submarines which have already been spotted near San Francisco and Santa Barbara. So the order was given to hide vital military objects. It was decide that camouflage would be used to hide the Lockheed Air Terminal (now Bob Hope Airport). During the operation scenic designers, painters, art directors, landscape artists, animators, carpenters, lighting experts and prop men from movie studios in Hollywood, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Disney Studios, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Universal Pictures and others worked on the field. | Sukhoi Superjets are the first passenger jet planes that are built after the formation of new Russia and also that is the first passenger plane
of SU company which previously built only well known SU military jets.
The 33rd airplane is being assembled currently in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
Assimilation of new equipment is always related to certain difficulties.
Problems of the past need to be eliminated and the airplanes must be
modernized. The main thing about Sukhoi is that its pilots and
constructors love the vehicle. They are engaged in airplane construction
and are very proud of it.
Employees work daily in three shifts and every shift about 300 workers are engaged in the working process.

| The Airbus A400M and the Breitling Jet Team joined forces yesterday for a formation flight in the south-west of France not far from the
airframer's Toulouse headquarters. The result is these stunning images
of prototype aircraft Grizzly 6 (F-WWMZ) alongside the aerobatic team.
Although you might think the turboprop-powered A400M would be no match
for the jet-engined Let L-39C Albatros, the four Europrop International
TP400-D6s help deliver the Grizzly's top speed of 478kt (885km/h)
against 405kt for the Czech-built aircraft.

| The air show was particularly interesting, as it featured not only the usual solo display of several aircraft types, including the Dassault
Rafale and the Mig-29, but also a tactical event whose aim was to
provide the spectators a better insight on the how the Belgian Air Force
is integrated in a NATO operation: the BAF set up a fictional scenario
based on the current PSO (Peace Support Operations) in Afghanistan,
within which 10 F-16 jets, supported by A-109 and Mi-24 helicopters,
B-Hunter UAV (from 80th UAV squadron of the BAF) and NATO E-3A AWACS
demonstrated some of their capabilities to the public.

| As we know, civil supersonic aviation practically does not exist. Only a few planes have been preserved to our times. The Tu-144 is one from
Ulyanovsk, Russia, and has been restored to a flying condition!
